The U6 division for the 2012 season will consist of players born in 2007 and 2006.  At this age we play small sided games of 3v3 without goalies on a small field. With 5 and 6 year olds, if you put 7 or 9 kids on the filed on each team... there is bound to be one if not 2 kids on the team that will _never_ touch_ the ball! Not our idea of having fun!! With 3v3 and in U8, 4v4, this is a great opportunity for the youngsters to gain much needed confidence in thier ball control... the more touches on the ball at this age, the better... and also they will not be intimidated by a huge group of players all trying to take the ball away from them. No matter what we teach them at this age, "Bee-Hive" soccer will always prevail. The smaller the Hive, the more chance that the Bees will enjoy this "Beautiful Game" :)
