Thank you for volunteering to assist us this year. I hope we will have an enjoyable season. Following is a brief synopsis of what your duties are for this season.

To Do ASAP:

Please phone all of your team and inform them:
1. What date and time the season starts
2. Shin guards are required for the first game (except U4)
3. Players must wear shorts or track pants - jeans/cargo pants etc. are not suitabl
4. Good Shoes are recommended - cleats are not necessary but recommended for U11 and up
5. Each player should bring a water bottle to each game
6. The club will provide each player with a jersey and a pair of socks

To Do During First Day
1. Please show up at least a 1/2 an hour earlier than your scheduled practice so that we can give you the coach bag and supplies (clip board, schedules, roster, uniforms, soccer balls)
2. Hand out schedules (copies will be provided to you by the club)
3. Record uniform numbers assigned to players on team list as you hand uniforms out
4. Confirm that all players have shin guards
5. Contact any players that did not show up to the season opener

Details To Remember During The Season

  • Ensure that there is a coach at all scheduled games
  • Ensure that all players are given an equal opportunity to play
  • Ensure that equipment (net, soccer balls, flags) are stored and maintained properly
  • Keep track of the goalie sgirt (u11 and up) assigned to your team
  • Fill out the game sheet each game (HINT - fill out as many as you need for home games right away)
  • Report any players that are not showing up to games - we typically have a waiting list of players that didn't make it onto a team but would still like to play
  • Please do not harass referees or other officials - report any problems to the executive
